How to connect MEXC
Allown reads your MEXC account with a read-only API key: the coins in your spot account, your deposits and withdrawals, moves to and from futures and your recent spot trades. Create the key in MEXC, paste it into Allown, done.

Log in on mexc.com. Hover over the profile icon at the top right and choose API Management.
An API key is a pass that lets an app read your account without your password.
Choose what the key may do
Under the permissions, tick only the ones that view or read: account details, order and trade details, deposit and withdrawal details, and transfers. Leave every permission that trades, places orders, withdraws or transfers funds unticked. MEXC's exact words can differ slightly; if a box would let the key move money, leave it off.

That's on purpose: Allown never needs more than reading.
Name it and create it
Write
Allownin the notes, leave Link IP Address empty and press Create. Confirm with the codes MEXC asks for.MEXC can make keys without a linked IP address stop working after 90 days. Allown tells you when it needs a new one.
Copy the Access Key and the Secret Key
MEXC shows the Access Key and the Secret Key: copy both.
The secret is shown only once. If you lose it, delete the key and create another.
Paste them into Allown
In Allown, open the account you want to fill, choose Add connection and pick MEXC. Paste the Access Key as the API key and the Secret Key as the secret, then press Connect. Allown checks with MEXC that the key can only read before saving it.
Why it’s safe
- Allown accepts read-only keys only: before saving, it asks MEXC to check a test order and to cancel a withdrawal that doesn't exist, and keeps the key only if MEXC refuses both. Nothing is placed or moved.
- The keys are stored encrypted and never sent back to your browser.
- Deleting the key in MEXC cuts Allown off at once.
After you connect
Your balances appear within a minute. Then Allown reads your deposits and withdrawals, moves to and from futures from the last six months and the last month of spot trades, each priced on its day. After that it syncs every few hours.
MEXC is new in Allown (beta). Balances are always read in full; movements the key can't see, such as older trades or Earn, are settled with one adjustment so your totals match MEXC.
Questions
Why only the last month of trades?
MEXC's API only shows spot trades from the last month. Anything older is settled with one adjustment, so what you hold is still right, and from then on Allown keeps every trade.
Are futures and Earn included?
Not yet: Allown reads the spot account. Coins you move to futures are recorded as leaving it, and coming back when you move them back. Earn isn't in MEXC's API.
Some of my coins show no price.
Allown prices coins where they trade: Binance first, then Bybit, then MEXC itself, against USDT. A coin with no USDT pair anywhere stays unpriced for now.
My key stopped working.
It has probably expired. Create a new read-only key and use Update keys on the connection.
