How to connect Freedom24
Allown reads your Freedom24 account from its broker report: your trades, dividends, deposits and withdrawals, splits and what you hold at the end. Download the report from Freedom24 as JSON and drop it into Allown.

- Broker report
Log in on freedom24.com and open Reports, then Broker report.
The broker report is Freedom24's own record of everything that happened in your account.
Choose the period
Pick the start as the day you opened the account and the end as today, so the report covers everything and ends with what you hold now. If Freedom24 limits the period, download one report per year instead.
Overlapping reports are fine: Allown recognises rows it already has and doesn't count them twice.
Download it as JSON
Choose JSON as the format and download the file. JSON is the version Allown reads exactly; the PDF is for reading yourself.
Setting Choose Format JSON Drop it into Allown
In Allown, open the account you want to fill, choose Add connection, pick Freedom24 and drop the files in. The newest report also checks your holdings against what Freedom24 says you hold.
Why it’s safe
- Allown never asks for your Freedom24 password or keys: you give it a report you downloaded yourself.
- Freedom24's API keys can trade as well as read, so Allown doesn't use them. That's on purpose: Allown never needs more than reading.
- The report stays with your account in Allown; deleting the connection removes everything it brought in.
After you connect
Your trades and holdings appear within a minute, each trade priced on its day. Upload a new report whenever you want Allown to catch up; there is nothing to sync in between.
Freedom24 is new in Allown (beta). If the report leaves something out, Allown adds one adjustment so your holdings match the report's.
Questions
Why not connect with an API key?
Freedom24's API keys can place orders as well as read, and Allown only takes keys that can't trade. The broker report gives Allown the same history without that risk.
Which markets are supported?
Shares, ETFs and bonds on the markets Freedom24 trades, matched by their ISIN so a ticker on one market is never mistaken for another. Currency conversions move cash between your currencies.
Can I use the Excel or CSV version?
Not yet: use JSON. It's the same report, in a form Allown can read without guessing.
Some of my holdings aren't matched.
Allown lists them on the connection. It's usually a listing no market data source carries; tell us which and we'll look.
