Track Interactive Brokers without giving away control

Allown reads your IBKR history through Flex Web Service, a read-only report, and matches it against the positions IBKR reports, so the numbers agree.

  1. 01

    Read-only by design

A Flex token and query number let Allown read reports, never place trades or move money. The token is stored encrypted and can be replaced at any time.

  2. 02

    Years of history from statements

Flex Web Service covers the last year. For older years, upload the Flex XML statements, many files at once, and they land on the same account without doubling anything.

  3. 03

    The details brokers care about

Trades, dividends and payments in lieu, withholding tax, transfers, splits and other corporate actions are all read, and fills of one order show as one row.

Questions people ask

Can Allown trade in my IBKR account?

No. Flex Web Service only produces reports. There is nothing in it that can place an order or withdraw money.

What should my Flex query include?

Open Positions, Trades and Cash Transactions in XML. Allown tells you which sections a query is missing.

Will my numbers match IBKR?

Allown reconciles what it reads with the positions IBKR reports, and closes any gap it can't explain with a single adjustment, so the totals match.
